STAR™ Aliphatic Amine Line Pipe (Standard Design) is rated for pressure levels up to 4000 psi (27,6 MPa) and temperatures up to 200° F (93.3° C).

This product consists of a unique resin system consisting of Aliphatic Amine Cured Epoxy.

This system features a API 8rd Threaded Joining System. The Join Lengths are 30 Feet (9.1 m) with Nominal Random Lengths of 20 to 32 feet (6.1 m to 9.8 m).

STAR™ Aliphatic Amine Line Pipe (Standard Design) are available in a variety of dimmest from 1½ through 8 inches (with API 8rd Thread).

A variety of filament wound API 5B threaded fittings are available. Purchase all fittings by thread size and design pressure rating only.

This product was designed with a nominal wall thickness. In terms of Hoop Stress, the product has average long-term hydrostatic strength (LTHS) as per ASTM D2992-B.

This product consists of a unique resin system consisting of Aliphatic Amine Cured Epoxy and reinforced with Premium Fiberglass.

This system features a API 8rd Threaded Joining System. The Join Lengths are 30 Feet (9.1 m) with Nominal Random Lengths of 20 to 32 feet (6.1 m to 9.8 m).

STAR™ Aliphatic Amine Line Pipe (Standard Design) are available in a variety of dimmest from 1½ through 8 inches (with API 8rd Thread).

A variety of filament wound API 5B threaded fittings are available. API 15HR design systems require higher rated fittings, refer to the STAR High Pressure Threaded Fittings Product Data sheet. Temperature interpolation is not recommended for fittings.

STAR™ High Pressure Threaded Fittings

Product Overview

NOV Fiber Glass Systems provides a broad range of high pressure fiberglass fittings and accessories to accompany our high pressure line pipe. This allows for a complete corrosion free piping system. All of these fittings are manufactured using the filament winding method of fabrication, using premium glass fibers, and quality epoxy resins. This ensures maximum pressure capabilities of these composite elements.Features for these fiberglass pipe fittings include:

Pressure ratings are per STAR Standard Design. For API 15HR pressure ratings, refer to table below.

There are multiple pressure classes at the design temperature of 200°F (93°C).

There API 5B EUE or OD 8rd or 10rd threaded connections available.

The STAR™ High Pressure Threaded Fittings are available in multiple sizes to match all of the manufactured pipe sizes and pressure classes.

Thread sizes correspond to thread types listed in product specifications. All 1½” EUE 10rd and 2⅜” – 4½” EUE 8rd API threads conform to API 5B Table 2.6a (L4 is minimum) and all 5½” – 9⅝” OD 8rd casing threads conform to API 5B Table 2.3 (L4 is minimum). The 2”-12” Star Super Seal is a proprietary connection.

All fittings are designated by thread size based on pressure class of the pipe.

When ordering flanged valves, the ANSI bolt pattern should match the bolt pattern of the fiberglass flange. Some high pressure (>3000 psi) line pipe use a larger thread size, requiring a different ANSl bolt pattern.
